Nita
After 27 years Nita’s done it all! She started in production as what’s called a “floater”- working in different departments and running different machines as needed. Over time she’s literally become a “jack of all trades”, working in many different roles, including Supervision, Production Scheduling, Customer Service, Quality and Shipping/Receiving. “I’ve really loved having been able to evolve and grow as Pivot Point has evolved and grown over the years. It’s been great being able to try out different jobs and work in different areas, and it is especially cool to make all kinds of different parts that go into all different applications”. We can often spot our parts on different products you’ll see out in the world. Outside of work Nita loves reading, being outside and visiting family around Wisconsin and in Austin, TX. Nita is officially semi-retired now, but says “I still come in a couple of days a week just because I really like the people I work with and I get to see all of my friends. It’s a great culture at Pivot Point”.
Dave
When the Dana Corporation factory in Milwaukee closed, Dave quickly found a home at Pivot Point. He was doing maintenance and machinery repair, and his wife Susan urged him to come join Pivot Point, where she was already working. After 5 years, Dave is now the lead person for the Maintenance Department. Says Dave, “I like that it is a small company, so there is a variety of different things to do and be involved in- and it is manageable because it isn’t so large. We pride ourselves on keeping everything very clean and organized, and that makes for a great work environment”. Like many others, Dave also likes the people he works with and appreciates how friendly and flexible we are. When not at work, Dave and Susan enjoy travelling to warm, sunny places for beach vacations. Dave plans to retire from Pivot Point, but hopes to still work here on a Part Time basis.
Christina
Christina joined Pivot Point as a light assembler three years ago and has quickly progressed to become the Lead Person for the Light Assembly Department. She previously worked at another manufacturer assembling electrical wire harnesses. “It’s nice to get up and enjoy coming to work. I love what a friendly organization we have and how I’m always busy but yet it’s not stressful. Everyone is always smiling and gets along so well.” Originally from Long Island, NY, Christina has lived in Wisconsin for the past 18 years enjoys camping with her family in various spots in the beautiful woods of Wisconsin. Travel is also a hobby and she and her family enjoy visiting other states.
Cody
Cody started with us back in high school, doing light assembly work. He left to attend college in Ashland, WI and also Denver, CO. He decided to return to Wisconsin and to Pivot Point as a machine operator. He quickly became Team Coordinator for that machine center, and then moved on to working as a Quoting Representative for a while, quoting new jobs to customers. Cody is now in a position as Assistant Production Manager. We are always challenging people with different roles and responsibilities, and importantly- match people with what they are interested in doing. As Cody says, “I like Pivot Point because it is a small company and a great place to work. My co-workers are excellent to work with and there is real opportunity for growth”. Cody is currently pursuing a B.S. in Sustainable Management through Pivot Point’s Tuition Reimbursement Program.

What do I like about Pivot Point? Oh my gosh- everything! The people, the work, I can bring forth ideas that are listened to and taken seriously. I love what I do, it doesn’t seem like work.” Killy currently works in Shipping and Receiving and her manufacturing experience creates a depth of knowledge that she continually draws upon.
