Quick-Release Detent Clevis Pins are essentially a cotterless Clevis Pin that feature a ball detent that depresses and springs up to hold the Clevis Pin into place. Used for assembly speed or where cotter pins are difficult to use, this fastener lowers labor costs. Made to order, Quick-Release Detent Clevis Pins are based on standard Clevis Pin head and shank dimensions. Ends are chamferred for easy insertion. Detent Clevis Pins are typically zinc plated carbon steel, while the ball detent is 300 series stainless steel. Fully stainless steel Detent Clevis Pins are also available, as well as other materials and finishes per your specifications.
Ball compression force can be adjusted to meet the force required to insert and remove.
